Yes, it’s soap! I made a mold from the real marshmallow Easter Peeps that are sold at stores. Here’s how I did it; I let the real marshmallow Peeps get very stale (after I ate a good many of them), then I poured a mold-making liquid around the Peeps. After the liquid hardened, I popped out the real marshmallow Peeps, then poured hot soap into the mold.
These are small soaps – the size of the actual marshmallow bunny Peeps that you see on store shelves right now. The soap comes in this set of three since they are so small. Even so, they whole set is less than three ounces, but they fit great in little hands and I guarantee that kids will adore them. I have scented them so they smell like fruity candy.
For obvious reasons, this novelty soap is not for small children without adult supervision since they might try to take a bite!
Price is for one set of three.
These novelty soaps are different from my cold process soap. They are made from a Melt & Pour base, which does contain some preservatives just like the ones in store-bought soaps. If you child has super-sensitive skin and often has problems with soap, you may want to go with my extra-gentle, unscented cold process Buttermilk Baby Soap instead.
